Train people for the sake of training? No!
Skills Development Projects need to focus on proving skills while ensuring that the trainees will be able to find work later. The Employment Fund developed a model to remunerate the training providers based on whether they can link their trainees to employment. Financial installments are paid based on the achievement of certain milestones, and mainly upon the gainful employment of the gradates. If training providers fail to link graduates to employment, they will lose out financially. This motivates them to ensure they are training people for occupations that are demanded in the labor market, and that they select motivated and interested young people for the training.
